Their main terminal is however located in a small island called San Leonardo inside Venice's lagoon, reacheable from mainland by boats only, which is used for berthing VLCC tankers for the discharge of crude oil.

An important oil pipeline across the lagoon, is then connecting the crude oil discharging terminal to their refinery with possibilities to switch the product even to refineries belonging to other managements.
